I needed help in school too, but there were programs designed for that situation. It was embarrassing when I was in school going to "those" classes but it helped. The school doesn't offer any one on one help, or classes? I'd look for a school that does in you area, there has to be one. Otherwise, would you ever have him home schooled?? That could really help him, but make sure he stays social w/ his friends. The school he's attending now should offer alternatives, otherwise I don't think it's a great school. You need to ask them why the school won't send your son to a special school. If they said it's because he is succeeding.
