    Kucinich-Chan is a …
Kucinich-Chan is a running joke on some forums since that loveable space elf is idolized and adored heavily by everyone at said forums.

    That’s what I heard …
That’s what I heard him say in an interview some time ago….That he would do away with the Pentagon, and he would use the Pentagon’s budget to establish a Department of Peace. That would be funny if it weren’t so stupidly tragic and dangerous….How are you, chief?

    HA! HA! “Department …
HA! HA! “Department of Peace” LOL

    Sick demented …
Sick demented s trying to brainwash and train sheep into their own success by sending the poor innocent sheeple into war….

The only problem is that if youtry to tell a person who plays video games this, they are literally brainwashed from thinking this is the truth.

    We all know that, …
We all know that, if it were up to Pinko Kucinich, the military would be dissolved and our Country’s defense needs and requirements would be left up to the “Department of Peace” that he talks about so much. This Far-Left extremist has his head far up his , and his continued stay in the Congress is a clear and present danger for America. And all you extremist leftist morons that have left stupid, incorrect comments here are not far behind. You should all be ashamed of yourselves!!

    Kucinich has a …
    Kucinich has a point here

however all recruitment methods do not disclose the real horrors of conflict and battle in war scenarios because if they did show the reality to younger minds of whom have a persuasion towards enlisting

there would be a severe drop in recruitment-

all methods of recruitment requires re-evaluation.

I was scared into staying by a few lies and was taking the final medical exam when the lies were corrected by somebody who wasnt getting commission to recruit me

    My recruitment …
    My recruitment wasnt cool
I was called by a recruiter who just calls numbers in the phone book (i did the same while under delayed entry program)

I took a practice aptitude test, then when i agreed to join, i took the real one then for the next 9 months whilei was in 12th grade i did study and helped a little in recruiting.

But a month before i was scheduled to deploy to boot camp i wanted to pull out to be an inhome nurse.

    What’s wrong with …
What’s wrong with recruiting tools?? You think “real life” recruiters don’t lie their es off to get you to join?? You should have heard the crap all the recruiters at my school were spewing about camaraderie, esprit de corps, and the glory of battle. It was fascinating. When I was young, we had actual real veteran heroes coming to our schools as recruiters, showing us the latest “tools” of the trade. “look here boys and girls, this is the new M16 A1 selective fire personal defense device”.

Like I said it all …
Like I said it all goes back to teaching your kids what is real and what is not! If you taught them well you wouldn’t have to worry about them thinking that this game is really how war is! And I am actually I am still in my 20′s if that is old then ! LOL

You, as an old coot …
You, as an old coot, don’t understand how the real world works anymore. But that’s cool, we still love you.

This is showing the kids how great war is without going in too much detail about those boring facts of how a body smells when it’s burned by white phosphorus, or how you don’t seem to respawn automagically when you get a real life 7.62 round in your cranium. That kinda .

This absolutely is a recruiting tool.

    Video games are the …
Video games are the fastest growing industry in the world today! I am sure a lot of you people on here complaining have kids that play some sort of video game. Whether it be using a leap frog learning system to just playing a Nintendo DS. Like I said it is all in what you teach your kids. Believing in Santa at age 15 is not cool.

    The people that …
The people that create Call of Duty and Halo 3 or any other military game are civilians and have no affiliation with the military at all. Same with the people who create Americas Army.

  17. Comment by LaLaLicious2212

    You people are …
You people are retards! I have been playing video games since I was 5 years old and I enlisted in the Army. Never once did I think that the Army was going to be anything like a video game. If people can’t teach their kids the difference between whats reality and whats not they def should not be breeding. Video game companies do not make video games to make people enlist in the military. They make these games because this is what the public wants to play.

    I hear where you’re …
I hear where you’re coming from but there is no doubt whatsoever that Americas Army is a recruiting tool, and I really have no problem with that. But Dennis Kucinich is right, AA does false portray war, they have everything in the game but the banner that says “CLICK HERE TO JOIN”.

has Electronic Arts released “Drone Wars – The Exciting Game of 21st Century Combat against 14th Century Peasants”, yet?

  24. Comment by grEzyRyd3r

    No, he’s …
No, he’s specifically referring to the Virtual Army Experience.

The games you mentioned, such as Call of Duty, Gears Of War, etc. were not developed for any branch of the US military.

In addition to that, you have to be 18 years old to buy games like Call Of Duty.

    What the is …
What the is this guy talking about? I went to boot camp while I was 15, between my junior and senior year of high school. I went on active duty to my first sea school while I was 16. While I was never “in country” during Nam, my first WESTPAC was off its coast in ’74, while I was 17. , I grew up playing army with rock filled dirt clods and pellet guns. I hunted down, shot, and field dressed my first deer before I was 12. This guy’s talking about a video game? Jeez, lets get real here.
