    Thanks so much for …
Thanks so much for all of your extremely informative vids! I love watching them and considering names for our children. Our favourites are Giselle, for a girl, and Brandan, for a boy.

Could you please please please do a video on unusual “G” or “J” names for girls. I’m also really interested in your thoughts on choosing meaningful middle names not related to family (ie, having two middle names – one for a family member and one for its meaning).

    thanks again, Carol.

    I´m an identical …
I´m an identical twin myself and I´m so thankful me and my sister don´t have matching names. We share almost every thing so it´s nice to have some thing for yourself. I would recomend to name twins as different names as possible, it gives them individuality that they need.

I’ve known a Kim & Kelly, Xan & Brice, Jenni & Jessica, Jamie (girl) & Jessica and that’s all I can think of. I don’t think I’ve known very many twins… anyways, I really really dislike matchy names, but I do agree they have to flow together pretty well.

    I’ve known twins …
I’ve known twins named Ashley & Brooke and Alex & Alexis. I prefer for twins to have names that ‘go together’, but not so obvious. Like unisex names (Riley & Taylor), strong boy names (Matthew & Nathaniel), and girly names (Sophia and Charlotte). I don’t mind names with the same initials, as long as they aren’t so close. (Like Luke and Logan.)

    I went to school …
I went to school with twins and their names were Melanie and Olivia. I also know of someone who had twins and named them Chloe and Zoe. I definitely agree with names that are matchy-matchy like Brandon&Braeden, Emma&Gemma, Delcan & Deacon. Right now I really like the combination Grady & Abilene ( for boy-gir), Violet & Abilene (for girl-girl), and Ciaran & Grady (for boy-boy)

    I used to know …
I used to know triplets! Two boys and a girl. Their names were James, Ted, and Magda. Nothing matchy…just that they are all older names. I also used to know twins by the name of Reese and Steven, again not matchy. I personally don’t like matching twin names for the same reason you don’t like them and I also like names that go nicely together but still give each child their own individual name.

I know…Teena and Geena. I think of the early 80s when I hear them. I would probably be someone who named them using the same first letter…if I were having twins…—thankfully only ONE on the way! =)

    I know of a Aili …
I know of a Aili and Rowan, Corey and Brandon, Catherine and Judith, Robert and Anthony, Hannah and Liam, and Nicholas and Aidan. and then I know two sets of triplets: Laura, Rachel and Holly, and Stephanie, Brittanie and Katie. and a set of quads: Devon, Brittany, Chelsea and Brianna.

I don’t think that you should name twins something that rhymes, or has a theme or whatever, because they’re two different people that will have their own lives outside of being a twin.
