    you can eat …
    you can eat basicially whatever you want! breastfeeding burns anywhere from 500-1000 calories a day. That does NOT mean you have to take in extra calories. As long as you eat enough calories (i.e. 2000 a day) you should be fine. Just like normal, only eat when you’re hungry!

    Nursing Moms are supposed to get an additional 500 calories, but that is an approximation. Gauge your milk supply and level of hunger. I never bothered to count calories, just listen to your body, eat healthy and make sure you don’t eat past being full. 500 calories is really not as much as most people think!!!
