I need everyone’s favorites! I don’t know any cute, encouraging, not-so-classic songs to sing and I was wondering what you like to sing with your baby.
My daughter and I sing the cuppycake song all the time. She is almost 5 months old and she cracks up every time i sing it to her. I just go to Youtube and type in cuppycake song. It is so cute.

"You are my Sunshine"
"Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbows" (leslie gore)
"That’s Amore" (Dean Martin)
We also make up a lot of songs at our house…all three of my kiddos have songs that spell out their names based on ‘regular’ song tunes

I don’t really like to sing so I do songs that I know I can be goofy with… a good song and learning song my son loves is Head, and shoulders, kneees, and toes… he cracks up when I sing it.. or maybe he is just laughing at mommy trying to sing

I don’t sing lullabies.I hear songs of the past and present days that have a meaning. That is what I sang to my children. And as they got older they have the rhythm in them. And they can dance and sing.So I have no regrets in singing the songs I sang. Mariah Carey,Celine Dion,Elton John etc.

My daughter is only 7 weeks old, but since she was about 3 or 4 weeks I started singing how much is that doggy in the window to her at bath time. while I know she could care less what song I’m singing, she really seems to enjoy it. She doesn’t like getting dressed after her bath, but if she starts fussing, I just start singing that song again and she quiets down. Any song you sing will be great:)

Try Hap Palmer’s Baby Songs, you can do a search for them on youtube. My favorites are "Don’t wash my blanket" and "My mommy comes back". I watched these videos when I was a baby and now I sing them to my baby, who is still in my tummy. I also like to sing her songs from Annie and form Disney movies.

My son is 12 weeks old and I like to sing Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes and Pat-a-Cake to my son. He loves mommy helping him make the motions. I also sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Baby Mine (from Dumbo) at bedtime. But I sing current songs as well, just whatever pops in my head through the day.

I tend to sing this to my baby girl. You can change the names though.
‘Clappy handys, clappy handys, when Daddy gets home. Daddys got pennies and Mummys got none’
I just do it however many times I feel like doing!
That’s just a little rhyme I like to do with her.
But I also have a song in my head but I don’t know who sings it or what the song is, which is a shame but it goes like this -
‘You never know what you got til it’s gone, but by then it’s too late time is wasted, I wish i could go back in time but I cant but if I had the chance I would take it. I know that i’ll see you again, until then i’ll hold on to your memory and make it. It’s hard to believe you’re gone but I guess goes to show that we take things for granted. I never thought it would come to this. Never imagined living without you. You don’t realize how short life is. One day you’re here, gone the next, how I miss you. So many things that I should have said, always assumed you’d be here to tell you. It’s hard to accept you’re not coming back I just want you to know I love you’
