infant toys and lead paint?

are there any particular brands of infant toys that are made in the usa? or anywhere but China?

Little Tykes, I believe. However, most are from Asian countries. There are lead test kits you can buy to test items in your home. The kits start at 4 bucks. I think you can get them at hardware stores.

    Little Tikes makes some American made toys. The playset I just bought my daughter says made in USA.

    http://www.novanatural.com/ and http://www.plantoys.com/ both make lovely stuff (1st is US-made; 2nd is made in Thailand) not prone to being recalled.
